After 22 years service in the Air Force, Kim retired and followed his dreams and passion for the ocean. In 2005, he obtained his marine qualifications and worked off the remote Kimberly coast as a skipper and tour guide before founding Aussie Cruises in 2007. His extensive fishing experience extends from catching Trout in the streams of the Snowy Mountains to Marlin at Lord Howe island and Yellow Fin Tuna at Cocos Island … as well as a lot of fish and places in between!

Shona is a true water baby hailing from New Zeeland. Shona’s dreams are as big as her zest for life and around these dreams of adventure, Shona has created a life that you only get from daring to live the dream. Shona is the real deal with experience on almost every conceivable craft including trailer boats, fishing boats, working boats, ocean going racing yachts and luxury motor cruisers (but not submarines). Shona has worked on these boats as cook, crew, engineer, captain, and trainer/assessor. Shona’s passion has taken her to exotic and challenging locations including years in the Caribbean and Mediterranean as well as the North Sea, Coral and Timor sea.
